I am a licensed marriage, family and child counselor with offices in the South Bay area and in the city of Downey. I have an extensive background working with individuals, couples and families. My areas of expertise are in premarital counseling, marriage counseling, child and adolescent counseling, sexual and relationship counseling, depression and loss, stress management, sexual abuse/incest recovery, substance abuse and co-dependency. I have been a licensed psychotherapist for more than 22 years and have worked with people from all walks of life. No two people are the same, and every person's life story is different and unique. The depth of each person's history, as it unfolds before me in our sessions, still touches me profoundly. I believe that every person has the capabilities within of becoming a stronger, more effective person. I see myself not only as a therapist, but as a trusted coach who can help each individual to explore those capabilities so they can reach their highest potential.
